Amba - Subessen Bit of a Cheek

Amba made her appearance into the world 2 hours after her sisters and brother, last born of Jess's second litter but from then on we knew we had her!!!! Bit of a Cheek certainly suits her. She was named Amba in memory of Bertie whose affix was Jambalaya. She very quickly settled into our family and became Blaze’s constant shadow.

There are pictures of Amba as a very young puppy on the "Bit of ......... gallery", but here are a few more of her as she grew up.

Amba made her first appearance at ringcaft when she was thirteen weeks old and after a couple of weeks was quite happy herding her half-brothers around the hall.

Amba practiced the "aren't I lovely" pose, so by 4 months old, she had perfected it!

She also liked to play with her mum Jess.

and at that time usually won !!!

Her first Christmas was really exciting for her.

What's this ? I don't know, but this is fun........

In January 2010 Amba went to the park, and played, and played in the snow until she was made to watch the others.

"Meanie Mum".

Amba made her first appearence in the big show ring at the Southern Counties Bearded Collie Club Championship Show on 6^th February 2010, where she was placed second in minor puppy bitch under judge Paula Brooks. This qualified her for Crufts 2011.(see Amba Achievements)

At the SCBCC Strawberry Tea in June 2010 Amba met her brother Alfie (S. Bit of a Tramp). They had grest fun together, and eventually sat together for a photo.

Come December it was time to enjoy that funny white stuff, although mummy made me wear this bright red coat - I knew I wouldn't get lost !!

In Spring 2011, while waiting for her coat to grow, Amba enjoyed playing with Buddy and Blaze.

The freedom of Croome Park was great for a run.... (Aug '11), although I did get tired...........

all grown up !

Enjoying Christmas presents - Amba is very good at opening parcels...... (December '11)

January 2012 it was back to the beach with the others, running around in the wind.

At Midshires in February Amba met her sister Pickle again - to play in the mud.
